By default your posts will only accept comments for 2 weeks in Graffiti. To be sure, the bulk of any activity on posts happen within the first 7 days, you might be cutting off comments from folks that wander by later… or click on a popular post in your side bar. Here is how to change this default:
- Log into the control panel
- Click site options
- Click comments
- Change the value for “Comment days”
- Click update settings
Note: If you extend this comment period you open a broader attack surface for spammers, so you’ll want to make sure you’ve registered with Akismet to use their spam protection service.
